Vishal’s upcoming film Laththi promotions help a good cause

In Tamil Nadu, Vishal has been aggressively promoting his next movie Laththi. The actor, whose promotional journey kicked off in Tamil Nadu, has since traveled to Mysore after stopping in Trichy, Madurai, Salem, and Coimbatore. Later, he would travel to Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Kerala. The actor has since admitted that the promotions have helped underprivileged students get free seats at two institutions.

Vishal revealed on his social media handle, “Delighted to say, my Tour promoting #Laththi & #Laatti has paved a path to get 10+5 #FreeSeats for under privileged Students in 2 Institutions through #DeviFoundations .I thank the management of -Salem Shakthi Kailash Women’s College & Maharaja Institute of Technology Mysuru (sic).”

He also mentioned that part of it will support farmer welfare during the promotional period. Vishal had previously given the farmer’s group welfare from his performance of Sandakozhi 2.

Sharing a glimpse of the tour, Vishal had written on his social media handle, “On a complete tour of Tamil Nadu promoting #Laththi Started with #Trichy, #Madurai, #Salem & #Coimbatore with #Yuvan Now heading to #Karnataka & later to #Kerala, #Andhra & #Telengana #Positive response all across for a grand opening on 22nd Dec #Laatti #LaththiFromDec22nd (sic).”

The movie directed by A Vinoth Kumar, a first-timer, has received a U/A rating in the interim. Recently, the movie’s trailer was published, and Vishal’s role appears to be a sincere police officer named Muruganantham, a Grade I constable. According to the trailer, Vishal’s character encounters a life-threatening predicament and is forced to defend his son at the same time. Following their 2013 film Samar, Sunaina returns to work with Vishal in the lead role of Laththi. Vishal’s repeated injuries on the set caused a significant delay in the release. Rana Productions provided financial support for the movie (a collaboration of actors Nandhaa and Ramana). The film will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.
