The filming for Vishal and the cast of the upcoming cop drama Laththi is already complete. The Veeramae Vaagai Soodum actor tweeted about it and said: “And! #Laththi has concluded. Coming soon to theatres near you in all of the world.” Even a video of the team giving a shout-out while posing together was included in his post. The release date for Laththi in theatres this year is set for September 15.
The premiere date of this Tamil action comedy was originally intended for August 12 of this year, but it was postponed since the star sustained multiple injuries while filming. This eagerly anticipated film, which is being billed as a cop drama, is expected to have lots of visual effects and intense action scenes. The lead actor suffered two injuries while recording some challenging stunts for Laththi. After his initial mishap in February of this year, he traveled to Kerala to recover. Later, a second accident happened recently. But soon after, Vishal returned to his work.

This action comedy was directed by A Vinodkumar for the first time, and it was funded by Ramana and Nandaa through their production company Rana Productions. In the movie, Sunaina plays the prominent role opposite Vishal. The compelling narrative for this drama was written by Pon Parthiban.
In terms of the technical team for the movie, M Balasubramaniam is the cinematographer and Sam CS is on board as the music composer.
