Veteran Malayalam actor, screenwriter, and director Sreenivasan had to take a short vacation due to ongoing health problems. He experienced a heart attack this year, necessitating hospitalization. However, he has now recovered and will be seen playing a crucial part in Kurukkan, the directorial debut of Jayalal Divakaran. The film’s production is complete, and the release date is soon to be announced by the producers. On social media, there are some images from the shooting location in which the entire film crew is seen smiling broadly.
Kurukkan debuted in Kochi on November 6. His supporters were thrilled to see that their favorite performer had totally healed by this point. In Kurukkan, Sreenivasan’s son Vineeth Sreenivasan and Shine Tom Chacko will both play major roles. Along with these actors, Sudheer Karamana, Srikanth Murali, Joji John, Aswath Lal, Malavika Menon, and Gowri Nanda make up Kurukkan’s ensemble cast.
The script was written by Manoj Ramasingh, who is well known for his work on movies like Money Back Policy and Minnaminungu. Jibu Jacob served as the film’s cinematographer, and Unni Elayaraja wrote the score. Song lyrics were written by Manu Manjith.
Fans are now in the dark regarding Sreenivasan’s role in Kurukkan. The storyline of the movie has also been kept a secret, which has increased interest in it. In the award-winning film Pyali, directed by Babitha Mathew and Rinn, Sreenivasan last played Zayidh. Pyali’s plot, which focused on two Kashmiri siblings attempting to make a livelihood in Kochi, was praised by both critics and viewers.
