Vikram has started the promotions for his film Cobra

Vikram has recently been in the news due to his professional responsibilities. He will next be seen in the action thriller Cobra, directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu. The project is slated to debut in theatres on August 31 of this year. The team has started the suspense drama’s promotional journey as the release date draws closer. Recently, Vikram and his crew were traveling to Trichy and Madurai for marketing when they were photographed by photographers at the airport. The “I” actor had long hair and a beard, and he looked sharp in a black jacket and blue jeans.

According to rumors, the star will appear in this spy thriller sporting striking looks. Irfan Pathan, a former cricketer who will play a significant role in the film, makes his acting debut in Cobra. In the movie, supporting roles will also be played by Miya George, Roshan Mathew, Sarjano Khalid, Padmapriya, Mohammad Ali Baig, Kaniha, Mirnalini Ravi, Meenakshi, and K. S. Ravikumar. With the drama, Srinidhi Shetty, Sarjano Khalid, and Roshan Mathew will make their Kollywood debuts. For those who are unaware, Vikram will play a Turkish Interpol officer in the movie.

Regarding the technical team, the drama’s music was composed by music legend AR Rahman, while the camera was operated by Harish Kannan. Bhuvan Srinivasan oversaw Cobra’s editing division and was funded by Seven Screen Studio. Vikram will also play an important role in Ponniyin Selvan, Mani Ratnam’s masterpiece. The principal roles in this hotly contested project are shared among an ensemble cast that also includes Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

He also collaborated on the film, provisionally titled Chiyaan 61, with director Pa Ranjith. The movie is anticipated to begin production soon.
