Vijay’s Thalapathy67 title will be revealed today

Vijay fans couldn’t have asked for a better production house than Seven Screen Studio, which is producing Thalapathy 67 (tentative title) and has provided three days of back-to-back updates on the film. The Lokesh Kanagaraj-directed film is currently in production in Kashmir, but that hasn’t stopped the team from keeping fans interested.

Following a slew of announcements and surprises, the production company has now revealed an update on its title. The long-awaited announcement will be made tomorrow at 5 p.m. on Seven Screen Studio’s social media page.

Along with the announcement, they shared a rough drawing of Vijay, and fans are wondering if the star’s appearance in the film would be comparable to the image. Excited fans are also wondering if the film’s first look will be revealed tomorrow along with the title.

Thalapathy 67 is set to enter theatres in October or November of this year. It is expected to be released in multiple languages as a pan-India project. Since the news of Vijay and Lokesh reuniting broke, the film has been generating a lot of buzzes.

The film stars Sanjay Dutt, Trisha, Arjun, Priya Anand, Mysskin, Gautham Menon, and Mansoor Ali Khan, among others. The music is composed by Anirudh. Manoj Paramahamsa and Philomin Raj will handle cinematography and editing, respectively.

Netflix has paid a record price for its digital rights, while Sun TV has purchased its satellite rights. Cinephiles are eager to learn if the film is set in the universe that Lokesh established with his previous film, Vikram.
