The film is directed by Nelson Sivakarthikeyan, who made his Kollywood debut with Nayanthara ‘Kolamavu Kokila’ in the lead role. Kalanithi Maran, Vijay and Nelson have released the announcement video of the movie together. Indications are that Thalapathy 65 is a gangster movie.
