Lokesh Kanagaraj’s ‘Vikram’ highlighting Kamal Haasan, Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi has turned into the blockbuster hit of the year and the film has gathered a box office collection of Rs 150 crore in three days of its release. The activity thrill-ride film had Vijay Sethupathi playing the role of adversary Santhanam and the actor was praised for his work on how he displayed his character and role as the miscreant in the film.
It was before revealed that actor Vijay Sethupathi was not the first option of the film producers to play the reprobate role. Presently, illuminating the subject, actor Jaffer Sadiq who acted as the right-hand man of Vijay Sethupathi in ‘Vikram’, in an interview with a news channel uncovered that actors Prabhu Deva and Raghava Lawrence were considered and discussed to be part of ‘Vikram’ along with Kamal Haasan to play the role of Santhanam in the movie.
The film was released in theaters on June 3 and it is running effectively in theaters. Aside from Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil in lead jobs, the film had Narain, Kalidas Jayaram, Arjun Das, Gayathri in supporting jobs. Suriya additionally played a cameo in the film. Supposedly, the continuation of the film ‘Vikram 3’ will have Kamal Haasan, Suriya, Karthi, and Fahadh Faasil playing the lead roles.
‘Vikram’ is just inches away from crossing Rs 200 crores worldwide, and the film is expected to surpass over Rs 300 crores. It will become the highest-grossing film of Kamal Haasan. The action film has been receiving a good response on weekdays too.
