Vijay Sethupathi finalized as the villain in Shah Rukh’s Jawan

The possibility of Vijay Sethupathi joining the cast of Shah Rukh Khan’s movie Jawan has undoubtedly greatly agitated the internet. Sethupathi was reportedly in high demand for the major antagonist role in Jawan, according to a number of recent sources, but official confirmation was being sought. The recent internet rumor confirming the Tamil star’s presence in the upcoming Hindi movie directed by Atlee suggests that the wait is finally over.

Rana Daggubati has reportedly been replaced by Vijay Sethupathi as the main antagonist to Shah Rukh Khan in Jawan. A source close to the production team disclosed to the publication that Sethupathi agreed to star in Jawan only after Shah Rukh Khan pleaded with him to do so. Sethupathi is said to have even made time in his busy schedule for Jawan. As an actor, Vijay Sethupathi is greatly admired by SRK, and their on-screen interaction is sure to be nothing short of spectacular.

As of right now, the inclusion of Vijay Sethupathi has not received official approval from Jawan’s producers. Regarding Rana Daggubati, the Virata Parvam actor was constrained to drop out of production due to scheduling challenges and health issues.

According to the new schedule, Vijay Sethupathi is anticipated to start working on the Jawan sets by the end of August. Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly now filming Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki in Budapest and will pick up Jawan for a brief production run in Mumbai before the Chennai stint. The release of Jawan is probably scheduled for Christmas 2023.
Atlee Kumar, known for his work in the Tamil films Bigil and Mersal, will direct Jawan (both starring Vijay). Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, and Yogi Babu are among the key cast members of the Hindi movie, which is hailed as a genuine masala entertainer. Deepika Padukone makes a cameo appearance.

The principal actors in Siddharth Anand’s upcoming action film Pathan, which also stars John Abraham and Deepika Padukone, will be Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham.
