The movie, Leo, has been setting new records at the box office since its release.Within just seven days of its release, ‘Leo’ garnered a staggering global collection of Rs 461 crores, edging closer to the remarkable milestone of 500 crore in theater collections. On the seventh day alone, Leo raked in Rs 266 crore in India. The producers celebrated this incredible milestone with a tweet, quoting the lyrics from the song “Badass Maa,” and unveiled a new poster to mark the achievement.

‘Leo’ is also a significant milestone in the careers of both Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj as it surpasses all their previous records. Even before its release, the film had amassed over a hundred crores through pre-release bookings. In a mere five days, ‘Leo’ joined the exclusive 400 crore club globally, surpassing Martin Scorsese’s DiCaprio starrer, ‘Killers of the Flower Moon.’Released on October 19, ‘Leo’ marked the long-awaited reunion of Trisha and Vijay, appearing together after 14 years.
