Tollywood megastar Chiranjeevi on Friday explained that he is avoiding political issues. He named as speculative a few media reports that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy offered him a Rajya Sabha seat. Chiranjeevi, who had approached the Chief Minister in Amaravati on Thursday to discuss the controversy over the pricing of cinema tickets, denied that he was offered a Rajya Sabha seat.

The well-known entertainer tweeted that the reports in a part of the media that he is being shipped off Rajya Sabha are absolutely wrong. He mentioned the media not to distribute such speculative stories and put a full stop to this conversation. Chiranjeevi emphasized that he met the Chief Minister to talk about the issues connected with the entertainment world.

Before long, entertainer Vijay Deverakonda showed up to openly endorse Chiranjeevi and tweeted, “My Full support. #GiveNewsNotViews.” The entertainer had met the Chief Minister at his official residence at the last’s greeting, and the lunch get-together gathering went on for one and half hours.
