Kochi Kerala Police has registered a case against Malayalam entertainer and producer Vijay Babu for an alleged rape case. Ernakulam South Police has enrolled the case on a lady’s complaint.
As indicated by the police, the objection was gotten on April 22. The complainant claimed that she has been physically assaulted by Vijay Babu in a flat in Kochi. The lady claimed in the complaint that the offense was repeated by the accused more than once.
The complaint said Mr. Babu committed the criminal offense on the pretext of offering the victims roles in movies. The victim lady is based in Kozhikode district. However, Police have not questioned or arrested Vijay Babu.
Vijay Babu, however, decided to take matters into his own hands and held a Facebook Live session in which he allegedly revealed the complainant’s name and pretended to be the victim. He claims that he is the true victim and plans to pursue a defamation suit. He further stated that he is prepared to face the consequences if the complainant’s identity is revealed.
The actor also stated that he will not let her go that easy. He went on to say that he could reveal the proof he has, but that he won’t because he doesn’t want to hurt her family.
