Meanwhile, the traffic police have made it clear that vehicles will not be able to run in the inner circle from 4 pm to 11 pm daily from 26 to 29 October in CP. However, the good thing is that people will be able to take their carts from the outer circle to the inner circle and park the vehicles in the parking lot built there. That is, parking lots will not be closed. The traffic police have also prepared a special circulation plan for the circulation of traffic between the inner and outer circles.
According to information received from the traffic police, the event organized by the Delhi government has been named ‘Diwali of Delhi’. Under this, a laser show will be held at Connaught Place from 6 pm every day from 26 to 29 October, which will run till 10 pm. During this time a large number of people are expected to join. Due to this, there can be traffic congestion in Connaught Place and surrounding areas.
In view of this program, the entry of general traffic in the inner circle will be closed between 4 pm and 11 pm. Permission to enter the parking lot of inner circle will also be available only through C block, F block, and Palika parking. For this, the traffic police have prepared an entry-exit plan. Full circulation of traffic will not be allowed in the inner circle. Only vehicles leaving the parking lot will be allowed to go to the nearest exit road. Trains will not be allowed from the inner circle to the outer circle towards Panchkuian Road. From here only people will be able to move.
This way you will be able to come to the inner circle
- People will be able to come to the inner circle via Janpath and go to the municipality parking or F-block parking. To exit the F Block parking, people will be able to leave from Baba Kharak Singh Marg or Palika Parking.
- People coming from the State Entry Road will be able to go to the parking lot of the C-block and in return, exit from Minto Road.
- On the outer circle from Haldiram, people will also be able to go towards the inner circle of the CP and from the middle circle, they will be able to take a left turn to the E block parking lot or take the right turn to the D block parking. In the return, people will be able to exit from the parking of D Block towards Minto Road and from the parking of E Block towards Barakhamba Road.
- People will also be able to walk to the Connaught Place by parking their carts in the multilevel parking of DLF or Shivaji Stadium parking located on Baba Kharak Singh Marg.
