UPSSSC Lekhpal Recruitment 2024
UPSSSC Lekhpal Vacancy: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath handed over appointment letters to the newly appointed Lekhpals on Wednesday. During the program, CM Yogi announced that requisition has been sent for 4,700 more new appointments. This recruitment will also be completed very soon. After this announcement of CM Yogi, Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission can issue notification for new recruitment of Lekhpal very soon. In the appointment letter distribution program organized in the auditorium of Allahabad Medical Association, he said that as soon as this recruitment process is completed, the required number of 30837 Lekhpals in the state will be completed. The double engine government is working with full commitment towards providing employment to the youth. In the last 7 years, the appointment process is being done with transparency and honesty.
The Chief Minister said that the recruitment process has been fair for the last 7 years by the government. Due to this, more than 6 lakh youth are contributing to the development of the state. The police department alone has recruited 1 lakh 55 thousand youth. Youth are being recruited as per their merit without any discrimination and following the reservation rules. Before 2017, there were loopholes in the recruitment process. A family used to divide the districts among themselves. Uncle-nephew used to go out for extortion.
What is the eligibility for Lekhpal recruitment?
Only those candidates can apply for this recruitment who had given UPSSSC’s PET (Preliminary Eligibility Test). Shortlisting of candidates for Lekhpal exam will be done on the basis of their PET score. Candidates must have a valid PET score card.
Educational Qualification- 12th Pass (Intermediate)
These candidates will be given weightage in recruitment – should have served in the Territorial Army for at least two years or have B certificate of NCC.
Age limit
18-40 years. Relaxation in maximum age limit will be given as per the rules of the state government. Candidates who are not from Uttar Pradesh will not get the benefit of any reservation.
