There was no legal hurdle in the recruitment of 15508 teachers started in aided secondary schools, then the selection process would be completed in a record time of eight months. The Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Services Selection Board ( ) has started the preparation for the written examination with the start of online application. It will take three to four months to prepare and moderate the question paper. The examination is anticipated in March or April. The examination will be conducted in 18 districts with Divisional Headquarters. The result is to be declared before July 2021 in compliance with the order of the Supreme Court.

The interview with a trained graduate (TGT) will not take time due to the termination. 12913 posts of 15 subjects out of 15508 belong to TGT. If the system of interviews was maintained, then it would have taken more than six months to interview so many posts, which will now be saved. On the basis of written examination, the selection process will be completed along with verification of the educational and other records of the candidates. The spokesperson (PGT) aims to conduct interviews on 2595 posts of 23 subjects before July. 

Teachers who do not take charge will go on hunger strike
despite selection in TGT-PGT 2016. Teachers who are not able to take charge in schools due to various reasons have decided to take an indefinite fast in front of the Secondary Education Services Selection Board from 3 November. These candidates have been circling the Selection Board, Directorate of Education, and related offices for almost three months. Candidates say that the officers assure them to make adjustments but nothing is happening. In such a situation, he has no option but to fast.
