The students are busy these days in preparing for the examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission, New Delhi for other major services including Indian Administrative Service (IAS). Its preliminary examination is to be held on October 4, in which the test report of Kovid-19 has been conditioned to be negative.
A large number of UP students also take part in the examination. Students say that the government has been asked to conduct tests in designated hospitals for examining Kovid-19 for appearing in the examination. It is obvious that the candidate whose test report of Kovid-19 will come positive will be denied the examination.
The examination was earlier scheduled to be held on 31 May 2020 but was postponed due to the Corona crisis. Students also say that only Corona patients are not being examined in hospitals right now. How will such a large number of students be tested? Then if the government had to conduct an investigation in private hospitals or pathology authorized by the government, then every student would have to pay Rs 2500 for it. Most of the students preparing for the exam are from such families that it will be difficult for them to spend this amount.
The UP exam can also increase the problem
Candidates are also scared about the examination to be done for the post of Block Education Officer (BYO) towards Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission Prayagraj. This exam is proposed on 16 August. Examination centers have been set up in 15 districts of the state for examination, while the number of examinees is around five lakhs. In such a situation, it will be difficult to follow social distancing. In the B.Ed entrance exam held on August 9, exam centers were made in all 73 districts for 4.31 lakh candidates, even then social distancing could not be taken care of.
