Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission on Saturday declared the result of the Block Education Officer Exam 2019. On the basis of the main examination, 309 candidates have been selected. The special thing is that there are two women in the top-three. 70 women (23 percent) have been elected to a total of 309 posts.

The Commission released advertisement for this recruitment on 13 December 2019. 5,28,314 candidates applied for the preliminary examination. Due to corona, the examination was conducted on 16 October 2020, which also showed the impact of the epidemic. 2,33,393 (44.18 percent) candidates appeared in the preliminary examination conducted at 1127 centers of 18 mandals. 4591 candidates were declared successful for the main examination. Of these, 4385 had registered for the main examination.

4182 candidates appeared in the main examination held on 6 December 2020. According to Secretary Jagdish, the test results are available on the Commission’s website and information board. The result of women candidates outside Uttar Pradesh will be subject to the decision of the High Court. After sending the recommendations of the marks and category wise cutoff marks related to the examination results will be displayed on the website of the Commission. Applications under RTI will not be accepted in this regard.

Pranav did the top
section of the EWS category, candidate Pranav has topped the economically weaker section in the recruitment of education officer. Priya Pandey and Kavita Chauhan of Unreserved category stood first and second respectively. Gaurav Kumar Shukla and Dheeraj Kumar Asthana are fourth and fifth respectively.

Anshu Malini Shukla, a teacher working in the Block Education Officer Kaudihar II Block, who became a teacher of Council School, has been selected as the Block Education Officer  . She is ranked 17th in merit and fourth in women. Earlier, he was also selected as the Range Forest Officer.
