UP Police SI Recruitment 2021: Today (15 June 2021) is the last date of application for 9534 vacancies of Sub-Inspector (SI) in UP Police conducted by Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB or UPPBPB). If still any interested candidate has not applied then apply immediately. The first deadline was May 30 but Upeepiarpibi the deadline of 16 days rising now had fixed 15 June 2021 UP Police Recruitment Board had issued a notice on its official website uppbpb.gov.in that Kovid -19 epidemic and lockdown when Candidates seeking to apply for recruitment are facing problems in getting the necessary certificates to fill the application form due to reasons like, cyber cafe closure etc. Keeping in mind their problems, the board has decided to extend the last date of application by 16 days to 15 June 2021.  There are 3613 unreserved posts out of total 9534 posts of SI. 902 posts are reserved for EWS, 2437 posts for OBC, 1895 for SC, 180 for ST category.

Out of 9534 vacant posts of SI, 9027 in Civil Police, 484 in Platoon Commander PAC and 23 posts of Fire II Officer.

Qualification For 
SI post in Civil Police & Platoon Commander PAC – Graduation in any discipline For
Fire II Officer – Graduate in Science side.

Age Limit – 21 to 28 years. Only those candidates can apply for this recruitment, who was born not earlier than 02 July 1993 and not later than 01 July 2000. 

Age relaxation of 5 years will be given to SC, ST, OBC category of Uttar Pradesh.

Pay Scale – 9300- 34800 and Grade Pay – Rs 4200 

Tall qualification 
height

for general, OBC and SC category – at least 168 cm
for the ST class – 160 cm

Chest for 
General, OBC and SC category – 79 cms without expansion and 84 cms for
ST category – 77 cms without expansion and 82 cms
to be inflated Keep in mind that at least 5 cm of chest expansion is mandatory.

Height  for women 
General, OBC and SC category – at least 152 cm For
ST category – 147 cm

Weight
at least 40 kg for all female candidates

How will the selection be 
written test and physical efficiency test.

Pattern of 
Written Examination The written examination will be of 400 marks in which objective type questions will be asked. In this online written examination of two hours, there will be one question paper each from four different subjects. 
General Hindi – 100 Marks
Fundamental / Constitution / General Knowledge – 100 Marks
Numerical and Mental Ability Test – 100 Marks
Mental Aptitude Test / Intelligence Test / Reasoning Test – 100 Marks

Candidates passed in the written test will be called for physical efficiency test. Physical Efficiency Test will be qualifying only. 

Physical Efficiency Test for 
men – 4.8 km run to be completed in 28 minutes.
For women – 2.4 km race to be completed in 16 minutes.

General and OBC – Rs 400 
SC, ST – Rs 400 

Final Merit 
Candidates who will qualify the Physical Efficiency Test will be called for Medical on the basis of the marks obtained in the written examination. Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in written examination.

 Like every time lakhs of candidates will apply for this, so obviously many candidates will have a tie in their marks. The applied candidates will first be called for the written test. Successful candidates in the written test will be called for Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Those who will clear the PET will get place in the final merit on the basis of marks obtained in the written test. 

If two or more candidates have the same marks in the final merit, then who will be selected? Who will be placed higher in merit? For this, UPPRPB has made three rules. The candidate who fulfills these rules will be placed higher in the merit. 

UP Police SI 9534 Vacancy Notification 2021

Rule No – 1
1- (a) Having O level certificate in Computer from DOEACC/NIELIT Society. 
 (b) – Served in Territorial Army for at least 2 years
 (c) – NCC B certificate. 

If the person possessing the above qualification will be given preference. If a person has more than one of the above qualifications, then his qualification will be considered as only one. 

Rule No. 2 –  If the decision is not taken now, then the candidate with older age will be given preference. 

Rule No. 3 –  Preference will be given according to the first English letter of the name of the candidate in the 10th certificate. The one whose English letter comes first in the alphabet will be given preference.
