The direct digital release of feature films is here to stay as more and more films are selling their rights to OTT firms.
Even though the recent feature films like Amitabh’s “Gulabo Sitabo” (Hindi), Jyothika’s “Ponmagal Vandhal” (Tamil) and RGV’s “Climax” have not posted big numbers, the OTT craze is still high.
This weekend, people will witness Keerthy Suresh starter thriller “Penguin” on Prime Video and then Satya Dev starrer “47 Days” will also set to stream on Zee5 on 30th of this month.
The Telugu streaming app “Aha” has also lined up another premiere of a Telugu movie titled “Bhanumathi Ramakrishna”.
