A list of 31,661 candidates has been released against 69000 teachers in Council Primary Schools of Uttar Pradesh. Counseling will be held on 14 October and 15 October. During this time all documents will be examined. After this, the appointment letter will be received on 16 October. The list of 31277 provisional selected candidates will be made available on the excel sheet on 13 October.
All the educational/other original documents, two sets of self-attested photocopies, four passport size photographs and secretary U.P. One has to reach the bank draft with the application fee fixed in the name of Basic Education Council. All the formalities for counseling will be completed by the District Basic Education Officer. Social distancing will be kept in view of Covid-19.
Many disputes regarding this recruitment are pending in the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court’s decision has not been issued yet. Meanwhile, on the orders of the Chief Minister, the department has released the list. The Supreme Court and the High Court have also ordered an amendment to the integer received of the candidates, on which the Basic Education Department has not taken any action. In this case, the dispute is almost certain to happen again.
In the order passed by the Supreme Court on May 21, 2020 in the petition Ramsharan Maurya and others v. State Government and others, the State Government was directed to complete the process of recruitment to the remaining posts except for the posts of Assistant Teachers held by Shikshamitras. The spokesman had said that the Chief Minister has ordered that the recruitment process for 31,661 posts should be completed in a week.
