UP TET 2020: The government has got permission to conduct Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UP-TET) 2020. The examination regulatory authority office will send a detailed proposal for the examination after the Diwali holidays. Preparation will require at least three months. So the exam is likely to be held only after 15 February.
Although a large number of candidates apply for TET started in 2011, but this time a record number of applications is expected to come. This is because the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has recently increased the validity of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) from seven years to a lifetime.
Candidates believe that if today or not tomorrow UP TET is recognized for their lifetime, then they will not need to take the exam again. However, this decision has to be taken by the state government. Whether the validity of the TET certificate will be five years or valid for life.
Record of the candidates who appeared in the TET exam: 1656338 registrations in 2019 and 1515065 candidates appeared in the examination There were 1170786 registrations in 2018 and 1101645 candidates appeared in the examination
