Leading telecom companies in the country have introduced recharge plans below Rs 300 that offer unlimited data and voice calling benefits. Reliance Jio, Airtel, Vodafone Idea and BSNL have launched prepaid recharge plans that offer more benefits at lower rates. The plans offer unlimited data and calling as well as 100 SMS per day and free subscriptions to video streaming apps. Jio has introduced two recharge plans for less than Rs 300. The first is at Rs 249. The plan offers 2GB of data per day and unlimited voice calls to any network. The plan also offers free access to Jio TV, Jio Cinema and Jio app. The term of the plan is 28 days.
The second is priced at Rs 199. The recharge plan offers 1.5GB of data, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day. The plan comes with a total of 42 GB of data. This plan provides complimentary access to geo applications. The term of the plan is 28 days. Airtel has introduced two prepaid recharge plans at Rs 149, Rs 298 and Rs 279. The Rs 298 plan offers 2GB of data and free access to the mobile version of Amazon Prime Video for 30 days. Plans also include Airtel Extreme Premium Subscription. Up to 10,000 movies are available on OTT platforms, including Erosnow, Hungama Play and C5. The Rs 279 prepaid plan offers 1.5 GB of data per day and unlimited calls and 300 SMS to all networks. The main attraction of the plan is the HDFC Life Insurance coverage. The period is 28 days.
