University Exam 2021: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said on Thursday that the examinations related to colleges and universities as well as technical education will be held on open book pattern like last year. Students will get the question paper through online mode on the scheduled date and time. He will be able to submit the answer sheet at the nearest center by writing the answer sitting at home. Higher Education Minister Mohan Yadav, Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Principal Secretary Higher Education Anupam Rajan, Principal Secretary Technical Education etc. were present in the meeting. Technical Education Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia and Minister of State for School Education Inder Singh Parmar attended the meeting through video conferencing.

According to the decision taken in the meeting, students who will not have an internet facilities at home will be given the facility to take the examination in the nearby educational institution. Undergraduate (UG) third-year and postgraduate (PG) fourth-semester examinations will be held in June 2021. The result will be released in July 2021. Similarly, the examinations of undergraduate first and second year and postgraduate second semester will be held in July 2021. The result will come by August 2021. There are total 14 lakh 88 thousand 958 in undergraduate classes and 3 lakh 08 thousand 117 candidates in postgraduate classes in 8 universities of the state. 

At the same time, all the examinations of technical education will be online. There will also be an open book method. Candidates will write the answer online only. Time will be 2 hours. A surcharge of 50% CGPA earned in previous semesters will be considered in the assessment. The examinations will be held in June and July. Results will be released in 10 days. There are a total of 1 lakh 87 thousand 811 candidates in technical education colleges in the state.
