University Exam 2021

University Exam 2021: The Higher Education Department of the state has planned to conduct the final year annual and semester examinations of the state universities by 13 August. Simultaneously, the examination will be simplified in such a way that a single-question paper will be prepared covering all the papers of one subject which will be based on multiple-choice questions. The examination system will be based on OMR.

According to sources, the proposal has been prepared based on the recommendations of the committee of three vice-chancellors. The mandate will be issued soon in this regard. It is the intention of the government that the results of all the examinations should be declared by 31 August 2021. Regarding the practical examinations, a system has been made in the proposal that the marks should be determined on the basis of written examination and the oral examination should be made online as per the requirement. The rules for the promotion of students in the annual examination system and semester examination system have also been fixed in the universities. Separate guidelines will be issued for both. Students of classes before the final year and last semester will be promoted without examination.

It will be in the semester system. It has been said in the proposal that such universities where the first semester examinations of undergraduate and postgraduate courses have been done and the second-semester examinations have not been completed, based on the marks of their first semester in their second semester. Results and marks will be determined. Similarly, if the third and odd semester examinations have been conducted and the fourth-semester examinations have not been held, then the fourth-semester results and marks will be determined on the basis of third and odd semester marks.

This arrangement will be done in the annual examination system. It has been said in the proposal that such universities where the first-year examinations of undergraduate and postgraduate courses have not been completed. Their such students will be promoted to the second year and on the basis of the marks of their next second year examination, their first year result and marks will be determined. In the universities where the first-year examinations were held in the year 2020, the results and marks of the second year will be determined on the basis of the marks of the first year and will be promoted in the third year. Similarly, in universities where first-year examinations were not conducted in 2020, Second-year exams will be conducted for them and admissions will be given in the third year on the basis of exam results. Postgraduate first-year students will also be promoted in the second year. When the second-year examinations are held in the year 2022, they will be awarded marks in the first year based on the marks of the second year.
