Udhayanidhi starrer Kalagathalaivan’s intriguing motion poster OUT

A project that began in 2020 has kept Udhayanidhi and Magizh Thirumeni occupied. The film’s filming was suspended after the initial schedules because Udhay was too busy with his political tasks and a few other movies. The cast has now unveiled a motion poster and the movie’s title.

The title Kalagathalaivan has been chosen by the filmmakers for the movie in which Nidhi Agarwal plays the female protagonist. The 45-second motion poster for the film gives no indication of the genre or storyline, but it suggests that Udhay will play a nuanced figure with many facets.

Udhay’s debut film with Magizh, Kalagathalaivan, is marketed as a thriller. The movie’s soundtrack was written by Sreekanth Deva, and Dilraj and Srikanth handled the film’s cinematography and editing, respectively. Udhay’s most recent film appearance was in Nenjuku Needhi, which is currently streaming on SonyLIV. He will next be featured in Mari Selvaraj’s Maamannan.

The 2019 film Thadam, which is currently streaming on Jio Cinema and Sun NXT, was Magizh’s most recent production. Later, Ram Pothineni and Aditya Roy Kapoor respectively played the lead roles in the Telugu and Hindi remakes of the film. Red Giant Movies, owned by Udhayanidhi, is funding Kalagathalaivan.

The movie, along with Maamannan, was considered to be the last film of Udhay as an actor. He recently confirmed it for himself. However, Udhay will play the lead in Kamal Haasan’s new production, he has recently announced. The Ulaganayagan has expressed excitement about working together, confusing the supporters of the actor-politician. Udhay appears to be undecided about whether to continue acting.
