Two corporation councilors die in Maharashtra due to COVID-19. Thane Corporation councilor and NCP leader Mukund Kini died early this morning. He had been in treatment for more than two weeks. The situation was getting worse by night.
Harishchandra Angonkar, a councilor, and Shiv Sena leader died on Tuesday night. He was on a ventilator at a private hospital in Thane. His mother, wife, and son were infected with Kovid but they were recovered.

8,828 cases were reported in Maharashtra. The number of sick people in the state is rising every day, raising concerns among health professionals. There were 3169 deaths due to Kovid in the state.
40957 people got recovered.
At present, 44384 people are receiving treatment in the state. Meanwhile, Kovid confirmed to 9985 people in 24 hours in the country. With this, the total number of people affected by Kovid has risen to 2,76,583. Kovid has killed 279 people in the past 24 hours. The death toll was 7745.
