Turbo is a Malayalam action comedy film directed by Vysakh, written by Midhun Manuel Thomas and produced by Mammootty under Mammootty Kampany. The film stars Mammootty in titular role, alongside Raj B. Shetty, Sunil in their debuts in Mollywood, along with Anjana Jayaprakash in a prominent role. The music was composed by Christo Xavier, while Vishnu Sarma and Shameer Muhammed handled the cinematography and editing respectively

While Mammootty plays the lead role of Jose, the film features Kannada actor Raj B Shetty and Telugu actor Sunil in other important roles. Mammootty’s film is being prepared with a lot of emphasis on action. Crucial action scenes are handled by Vietnam Fighters. The production is under the banner of Mammootty Company.Background music is by Christo Xavier. ‘Turbo’ uses a ‘pursuit camera’ suitable for display motion blur measurement used in chase scenes in Hollywood, which can film chases at speeds of up to 200 kmph.
