The makers were planning to release the film in the cinemas from January 27, 2022. Actor Tovino Thomas took to his social media handle and confirmed the same. The post reads, “We regret to announce that the ‘Naradan’ movie release has been postponed due to the surge of Covid 19 infections and complications caused by the Omicron.”

Tovino Thomas plays the character of an anchor in Ashiq Abu’s film Naaradhan. Anna Ben, Jaffer Idukki, Indrans, Deepan Sivaraman, Vijayaraghavan, Renji Panicker, Sharaffudeen, and Joy Mathew assume major roles in the film. Unni R. composed the story, situation, and screenplay for the film.
The film’s character banners have also been released. Shakeera Ahmmed will be played by Anna Ben in the film, while Purambokkilachan will be played by Jaffer Idukki. Renji Panicker will depict Govinda Menon, an advocate, while Vijayaraghavan will depict Babuji.
