The Supreme Court has handed over the case of the death of Bollywood hero Sushant Singh Rajput to the CBI. The apex court today directed the Maharashtra police to co-operate with the CBI in the case. The court also directed the Mumbai police, which has been investigating the case till now, to hand over the details of their whereabouts to the CBI. The Supreme Court ruled that it was lawful to register an FIR against Rhea. The case was adjudicated by Single Bench Justice Hrishikesh Roy. The court also directed the CBI to look into any case registered in the Rajput death case in the future. Putting aside the scuffle between Mumbai and Bihar police, the court said it was lawful to register an FIR in Patna. Following the verdict, Maharashtra tried to appeal, but the court dismissed it.

Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh welcomed the verdict of the Supreme Court. Bollywood actor Anupam Kher also welcomed the Supreme Court verdict. Sushant’s ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokande also tweeted welcoming the Supreme Court verdict. Riya asked .. Actor Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri tweeted that the Supreme Court has blessed him. Riya has filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking transfer of the FIR registered against her in Patna to Mumbai. The petition was originally scheduled to be heard on August 11. But a unanimous bench headed by Justice Hrishikesh Roy reserved judgment.   

It is known that the case of Sushant’s death has become a mystery. Although the Mumbai police found that Sushant had committed suicide, there are still suspicions in the case. Mumbai police have already questioned about 50 Bollywood celebrities without registering any FIR. However, the case took a new turn when Sushant’s father filed a petition in the case. Suspicions about Girlfriend Rhea also became a matter of interest. Where did the crores of money in Sushant’s account go? Shyam Diwan, senior counsel for Sushant Girlfriend Riya, and Abhishek Manu Singhvi, Senior Councilor for Maharashtra, argued. Maharashtra is arguing that the Sushant murder trial is a battleground in Mumbai. Singhvi argued that the FIR registered in Patna was a zero FIR. Maninder Singh argued on behalf of Bihar state in the same case. Sushant’s father Vikash Singh, a senior counselor, is arguing on behalf of Rajput. Vikash alleged that the Mumbai police were conducting an investigation without registering any FIR. 

Mumbai police have confirmed that Sushant committed suicide on June 14 at his home in Bandra. But Sushant’s father filed a petition claiming that Ryan was responsible for his son’s death.
