The Priest Malayalam Movie Review
The film was originally scheduled to release on August 2020, but the premiere was postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic. The release date was then projected to be on 4 February 2021, and was delayed again. The film was set to release on 4 March 2021. And on 2 March 2021, the film was again postponed indefinitely as the team couldn’t get approval from the Kerala government for night show.

The announcement from the makers of The Priest came a few hours after the Kerala government announced extension of working timings for theatres across the state. Earlier, many filmmakers raised concerns over not being able to run four shows in theatres. The Kerala government has now permitted theatres in the states to run night shows.
