Kovid disease surveillance has been tightened to strengthen Kovid’s immunity. Surgical examination is widespread. As of yesterday evening, more than two and a half lakhs had been examined. An average of 10,000 inspections per day. Only 12,694 inspections were conducted yesterday.
So far 2418 people have been diagnosed with the disease in the state. Of these, 781 were infected. 1588 people are under treatment. 49 people have died. As of Wednesday evening, 1,09,322 were in the Institutional Quarantine. In addition to the free quarantine center set up by the government in hostels and schools, the hotel also offers a payment facility. 10,556 are held in Home Quarantine.
With the introduction of international domestic flights and inter-state road transport, the number of arrivals in Karnataka has increased. As of Wednesday evening, 4832 foreigners and 3387 persons from various states had flown in to Bangalore. Most of them are from Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata, where 90% of the cases are infected. A total of 4302 people have arrived in Bengaluru in 12 trains from various states.
