A woman who went missing two years ago has been found alive at sea. The incident took place in Colombia. Ronald Wisbel, a 46-year-old fisherman, and his team found Angelica Gayton off the coast of Puerto Colombia. At first, Visbel felt that something was floating in the sea. But when the woman raised her hand for help, she realized that it was the man who had flown away. The woman was then rescued.
For two years her family had no idea where Angelica was. Angelica had been suffering from her husband’s abuse for 20 years. In 2018, Angelica’s husband tried to kill her. They left home that day to escape.
He spent six months in a shelter in Barranquilla. Meanwhile, Angelica, who was suffering from depression, decided to commit suicide by jumping into the sea. Angelica says she only remembers jumping into the sea and does not know what happened next. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
