Jis Joy’s film ‘Talavan’ in the Biju Menon Asif Ali combination will hit the theaters today. After winning a place in the hearts of the audience as father and son in the hit movie ‘Anuraga Karikin Vaalal’, now both of them are coming as two police officers. The leader goes through the conflict between two police officers of different ranks. The film, which is a thriller in nature, is part of the evolution of director Jis Joy’s career. The films that have come out in the past few years have moved away from the label of ordinary Jis Joy film.

Jis Joy, who started his career with the film Bicycle Thieves in 2013, has the distinction of having Asif Ali in the lead role in all the films except ‘Mohan Kumar Fans’. The same is repeated in the head.

Set in the backdrop of North Malabar, the film’s dialogues are not Malabar style. The screenplay of the movie is written by Sarath Perumbavoor and Anand Thevarakat. Apart from Asif Ali and Biju Menon, Anushree, Mia, Dileesh Pothan, Kottayam Naseer, Shankar Ramakrishnan, Joji K John, Dinesh Anurup, Nandan Unni and Bilas are playing other important roles.
