Director Atlee and his wife Priya recently announced that they are expecting their first child. Meanwhile, Priya Atlee’s baby shower celebration took place yesterday (Dec. 19) in Chennai, and movie stars and close family friends attended the spectacular occasion. Vijay was there at Atlee’s family event as well, and he gave the pair a special gift.

Atlee and Priya were seen wearing matching white outfits, and Vijay arrived in a black suit with a blue shirt. Vijay and Atlee’s images from the occasion have gone viral. For the actor’s 68th movie, Vijay and Atlee are reportedly reunited, and it’s expected to be a greater undertaking than their past movies. Atlee is now working on his first Bollywood picture, “Jawaan,” which stars Shah Rukh Khan in the title role and is due out in theatres in June 2023. Jawaan also features Nayanthara in the lead role.
After finishing the shooting for the Pongal release “Varisu,” Vijay has been taking advantage of his leisure time. Last week, the actor traveled to Chennai to attend a wedding. Vijay is getting ready to start filming “Thalapathy 67,” with director Lokesh Kangaraj, which will start in the final week of January.
