Telugu TV actress Sravani Kondapally reportedly died by suicide on Tuesday (September 8) night. The actress died bu suicide on Tuesday in Hyderabad, she was 26 years. As per the latest reports, the actress was found hanging from the ceiling in the bathroom at her residence in Madhuranagar, Hyderabad. The body was later shifted to Osmania hospital for postmortem.
According to family members, Sravani had entered her room on the pretext of taking a shower. When she did not come out of the room for over an hour, they broke open the door and found her body. The police did not find any suicide note. The police investigation is still on. Meanwhile, Sravani’s family alleged that harassment by boyfriend Devraj Reddy forced the actress to end her life. They have lodged a complaint against Devraj in SR Nagar police station. The actress’s family further accused that Devraj, hailing from Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, has been harassing Sravani for a while now.
“Devaraju was arrested in June for allegedly harassing Sravani. He was allegedly forcing her to marry him. Later, they started talking again, and the family had questioned this. Now, it is the allegation of the family that she ended her life due to harassment by Devaraju.” A case against Devaraji has been registered under IPC section 306. The investigation is underway.
Sravani has been active in the Telugu TV industry for the past 8 years. was seen in popular Telugu serials Manasu Mamatha and Mounaragam as well. Her untimely demise has taken the cast and crew of the shows by surprise.
