Telangana Minister Chamakura Malla Reddy stated that in the next five years, both Bollywood and Hollywood will be dominated by the Telugu-speaking audience. He made light-hearted remarks about actor Ranbir Kapoor, suggesting that Ranbir Kapoor will have to relocate to Hyderabad in the next five years. The Minister playfully mocked the actor during a pre-release event of the movie “Animal,” featuring Ranbir Kapoor.
Malla Reddy emphasized that Hyderabad is the only city contributing to the Indian film industry’s dominance over the country’s cinema. According to him, in the next five years, Bollywood and Hollywood will be ruled by the Telugu-speaking audience. The Minister ridiculed the idea of Ranbir Kapoor moving to Hyderabad and made sarcastic comments about it.
The comments were made during the pre-release event of the Telugu movie “Animal,” which marks Ranbir Kapoor’s debut in Telugu cinema. The film is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, known for his work in the movie “Arjun Reddy.” The event also featured prominent figures like director Rajamouli, actor Mahesh Babu, and producer Dil Raju.
The Minister’s playful comments and the overall event aimed to create buzz and excitement around the release of “Animal” and highlighted the growing influence of Telugu cinema on the national stage.
