Sushmita Sen completes 28 years of her Miss Universe victory

Sushmita Sen is a famous actress who need not be introduced. She is the first Indian who carried the crown of Miss Universe to India in 1994. The 43rd Miss Universe event was hung on 21 May 1994, at the Plenary Hall of the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay, Philippines. The Main Hoon Na actress contended with challengers from 77 nations all over the planet. The main next in line was Carolina Gomez from Colombia, while Minorka Mercado from Venezuela turned into the second next in line.

Today, the actress completes the 28th year of her renowned title and on this special day, Sushmita took to her virtual entertainment handle and wrote a delightful note. The actress shared a dazzling image of herself on her Twitter handle and expressed: “Beautiful is a feeling. Happy 28 years of INDIA winning Miss Universe for the very first time!! Subsequent to winning the Miss Universe event she made her debut in the film industry. She made her introduction in the films in 1996 film, Dasta and later featured in numerous movies like Biwi No.1, Aaghaaz, Kyo Kii… Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta, Samay: When Time Strikes, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya?, Do Knot Disturb, and many others.

In the meantime, on the work front, Sushmita was most recently seen in the crime thrill ride dramatization streaming TV series, Aarya 2, which debuted on the OTT platform. Sushmita’s crime thrill ride establishment has been liked by the audience.
