The CBI today questioned Bollywood actress Sushant Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty for more than 10 hours over her death. Summons have been issued to appear for further questioning. The marathon was questioned again by the CBI after Rhea Chakraborty told the media that she was being mentally abused in the name of the investigation.
Riya’s statement was recorded by Nupur Prasad, the officer leading the CBI team. The CBI has questioned Rhea in connection with the family’s allegation that the actor was mentally abused, took money from accounts, and was involved in his death. The agency is also questioning Riya’s brother Shalik. CBI sources said the two were interrogated separately and their discrepancies were checked. The CBI further asked her that “Sushant tried to call you at around 2 pm on June 14. You did not see any SoS in it? You did not call back Sushant in the morning either?” The investigation agency also asked her, “after leaving home on June 8, why did you not make any attempt to take Sushant’s condition by calling Sushant’s sister Mitu or any of Sushant’s staff for the next 1 week?”
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead on June 14 at his residence in Bandra, Mumbai. The conclusion is suicidal.
