The two recent blockbuster hits of actor Suriya, “Soorarai Pottru” and “Jai Bhim,” which were launched on a direct-to-digital channel, will shortly be re-released in theatres. The Suriya-starring films “Soorarai Pottru” and “Jai Bhim” will be shown in Chennai theatres from July 22 to July 24 in honor of the actor’s birthday, which is on July 23. To commemorate the unique occasion, the film’s creators are giving Suriya’s fans a treat to see the films in theatres.

Sudha Kongara’s biopic play “Soorarai Pottru” is about the emergence of a businessman who strives to establish his own airplane service for those with limited financial resources. Many people loved the movie because it was able to convey strong emotions. The film’s score was written by GV Prakash.

On the other hand, “Jai Bhim” is a compelling movie that was based on true events. The main emphasis of the film is how Tamil Nadu’s tribal population’s basic rights are defended by lawyer Chandru. When a member of the Irular tribe is wrongly accused of stealing and passes away while in police custody, the story comes to light. In the film, Suriya plays the part of Justice Chandru.

After “Vanangaan,” Suriya will begin filming his next movie, “Vaadivaasal,” which is directed by Vetrimaaran. The project describes the unique bond between a Jalikattu Kalai, popularly known as the fighting bull, and a common villager. According to reports, the film is based on the same-titled Tamil novel by CS Chellappa. Additionally, he is working on a few projects with the directors Sudha Kongara and Siva.
