Suriya’s next with director Bala is titled Vanangaan

After leaving a tremendous impact as Rolex in Kamal Haasan’s Vikram, Suriya will next be seen on the big screens with his much-anticipated drama alongside filmmaker Bala. As the movie buffs wait to see the drama in the cinema halls, the directors have unveiled the title of Suriya’s next. The undertaking is known as Vanangaan. The Jai Bhim actor Tweeted the name on filmmaker Bala’s birthday stating “Great to be reunited with you..! Happy birthday brother…!”

Suriya is depicted on the announcement poster in a ruthless appearance with a beard and fierce eyes. He has a very intimidating desi appearance. The film’s current production has Keerthy Suresh and Atharvaa in pivotal roles. After almost 20 years, the actor and director finally worked together on Vanangaan. Prior to this, these two had produced blockbusters in the form of the 2003 drama Pithamagan and the 2001 film Nandha.

According to reports, the Soorarai Pottru actor plays two roles in the movie. His two characters are meant to be a deaf and dumb person and a normal commoner, respectively.  Another theory surrounding this drama is that Suriya may be portraying a fisherman in the picture. The soundtrack for Suriya 41 has been written by GV Prakash Kumar in the meantime.

On the other hand, Suriya is also filming Vetri Maaran’s Vaadivaasal at the same time. The project describes the unique bond between a Jalikattu Kalai, popularly known as the fighting bull, and a common villager. According to reports, the film is based on the same-titled Tamil novel by CS Chellappa.
