Suriya’s ‘Jai Bhim’ wins two Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival awards

‘Jai Bhim’ which avoided its theaterical release and was released on OTT in 2021 was widely praised and got many awards. The film also got numerous unique mentions at International Film Festivals including its choice for nominations for the Oscar Award 2022. Presently, the film has won two honors at the 12TH Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival 2022.
The film won the honor of the Best Film and actor Manikandan won the Best Supporting Actor award at the film celebration allegedly on May 3. Directed by Gnanavel, the film highlighted Suriya, Manikandan, and Lijomol Jose in lead jobs.
