Suresh Gopi donated Rs. 2 lakh which he received as a film’s advance

Whiz Suresh Gopi has stayed faithful to his obligation and gave Rs. 2 lakh which he got as an advance for a film, to Mimicry Artistes Association (MAA). Last year, the entertainer informed us that he would give Rs. 2 lakh to the association, for each film he signs. The pandemic had overturned the life of many artists, and the superstar took the initiative after learning about the hardships of the mimicry artists.

Staying faithful to his obligation, Suresh Gopi made the donation, when he got a development sum for his impending film ‘Ottakombam’. “Received the advance amount for my upcoming film #Ottakkomban. As promised I’ll be handing over this cheque for ₹2 lakhs to the Mimicry Artistes Association (MAA) today,” Suresh Gopi said in his Facebook post, sharing an image of the cheque.

On the work front, Suresh Gopi will be next seen ‘Mei Hoon Moosa’. He is teaming up with cinematographer-producer Jibu Jacob for the film. “Jibu Jacob joining me for my 253rd venture titled ‘Mei Hoom Moosa.’ Here’s sharing the first glimpse. We are done with a North Indian schedule and beginning shoot in Kerala from today. #MeiHoomMoosa #SG253,”  Suresh Gopi declared, sharing a brief look at the film.

In the meantime, it has been of late reported that the 1998 blockbuster film ‘Summer in Bethlehem’ will get a continuation. The maker of ‘Summer in Bethlehem’ affirmed the same news recently, and the 1998 film had included Suresh Gopi, Jayaram, and Manju Warrier in lead roles. However, the maker has affirmed that Manju Warrier will be an important cast for the film. It isn’t uncovered at this point whether Suresh Gopi and Jayaram also will be found in the continuation.
