This is the first time such a digital release is going to be launched in Malayalam. Amazon Prime confirmed this. Directed by debutant Naranipuzha Shanavas, the movie is produced by Vijay Babu under the banner of Friday Film House. Aditi Rao Haidari is the heroine. Jayasuriya has announced that the film will be released on Amazon Prime. The film is yet to be released.
Producer Vijay Babu says there is no other way to overcome the current financial crisis. There is uncertainty as to when the theaters will open. “This is why we have decided to release the film through the online platform and have discussed it with the producers,” he said.
Meanwhile, when a movie is released for the first time in Malayalam on the online platform, the reaction of the theater owners will be noticeable.
