SSC MTS Vacancy 2024: Applications for Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havildar (Central Bureau of Indirect Taxes and Customs and Central Bureau of Narcotics) Exam 2024 will be accepted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) from today, Thursday. Online applications for MTS 2024 will be accepted till July 31 and preparations are being made to conduct a computer based examination in November or December. It is worth noting that 26,09,777 candidates from all over the country were in the fray for 1773 posts of MTS 2023. Applications for Stenographer Grade C and D Exam 2024 are expected to start from July 26 next month. Earlier, applications for Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Exam 2024 have started from June 24.
Through MTS recruitment, various departments of the Central Government recruit people for the posts of peon, chowkidar, jamadar, gardener, gatekeeper etc. Along with this, recruitment will be done for the posts of havildar in Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) and Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN).
Educational Qualification:- For both the posts- 10th Pass.
Pay Scale
MTS Salary – Pay Level-1, As per 7th Pay Commission
Havildar Salary – Pay Level-1, As per 7th Pay Commission
The vacancy is in two age groups – 18 years to 25 years and 18 years to 27 years. The cutoff for these posts will also be different. SC and ST category candidates will be given five years relaxation in the maximum age limit and OBC will be given three years relaxation.
Application fee: Rs 100.
There is no fee for women, SC, ST categories.
Selection process for Havildar post (based on last recruitment)
– Computer based written test, physical test, physical standard test.
– For Havildar post, height of male – 157.5 cm.
– Height of female – 152 cm. And minimum weight of 48 kg.
– Chest of male – 81 cm. 5 cm expansion separately.
Physical Efficiency Test Rules for Havildar:
Men – 1600 meters of running in 15 minutes.
Women – 1 km race in 20 minutes.
What was the final cutoff of the previous MTS Havildar recruitment?
In the previous recruitment, the OBC cutoff of Jaipur for the post of Havildar reached 155.54969. Whereas the paper was of 150 marks. This happened due to the implementation of the normalization method.
