SSC Gd Constable Vacancy 2023-2024: Applications for SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2024 will start today from 24th November 2023.The official notification of GD constable recruitment will also be released tomorrow on the official website ssc.nic.in.According to the report, this time there may be more than 70 thousand vacancies.Through this recruitment, thousands of vacant posts of GD Constable in BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB and Rifleman in Assam Rifles will be filled.The last date for application has been fixed as December 28.

1. Eligibility – 10th pass youth will be able to apply for constable recruitment.
2. Age limit will be 18 years to 23 years.There will be a relaxation of three years for OBC and five years for SC ST category in the maximum age limit.
3. How will the selection be done?
First of all there will be written examination (computer based).Successful candidates will be called for Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PST).Those who pass PET PST will be called for medical and document verification.The final merit list will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination.PET PST will be merely qualifying.Only passing in PET and PST will be required.
4. GD Constable Recruitment Exam 2024 will be conducted on 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29 February and 1, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12 March, 2024.
5. Pattern of written exam:
If the exam pattern of GD Constable Recruitment exam remains like last time, then the paper will be of one hour.Only 80 questions will be asked in the paper.In the written examination, questions related to General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Maths and English/Hindi subjects will be asked.20-20 questions will be asked from all four sections.All sections will be of 40-40 marks.
6. There will be negative marking.Half marks will be deducted for wrong answer.
7. Physical Eligibility Rules (PST)
Height
for male candidates – 170 cm.
Female candidates – 157 cms.
Chest – Male candidates – 80 cm.(expanded – 85 cm)
8. Physical Efficiency Test (PET – Physical Test)
Male candidates will have to run 5 km in 24 minutes.Apart from this, you will also have to run 1.6 km in 6 and a half minutes.
Female candidates will have to run 800 meters in 4 minutes.Apart from this, you will also have to run 1.6 km in 8 and a half minutes.
9. Final merit
list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination of those who pass PET/PST.PET PST will be merely qualifying.
10. The examination will be conducted in 13 languages.
Apart from Hindi and English, the examination for recruitment to the posts of Constable GD in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) will now be conducted in 13 regional languages also.With this decision of the Home Ministry, lakhs of candidates appearing in the GD Constable Recruitment Examination will be able to take the examination in their mother tongue.This will increase their chances of selection.
