Entertainer Sruthi Hariharan is back on a film set following a half year. She joined the team of the Shoonya coordinated Head Bush that is being frontline by Dhananjaya. She says she is excited to be back doing a major Kannada film after seemingly forever and is partaking in the time on the arrangement of the MP Jayaraj biopic.

“The character I play is based on a person who existed in real life. The thing about doing a biopic, where characters are based on someone’s real life, is that they played an integral part in others’ lives. Hence, there is more pressure to do justice to these roles than on those created on paper,” shares Sruthi.

Concerning the actual job, Sruthi says, “The character is of a woman who knows her mind and is idealistic. She has strong sensibilities of what is right and wrong. In a script that is set with the backdrop of the underworld, it is beautiful to play a woman like this who had her say.”

For Sruthi, there are various reasons why she is happy to have been acknowledged to be a piece of this film. “One of the biggest plus points for me to give my nod was the fact that it is written by Agni Sridhar, one of the best writers we have. Apart from this, the team also includes people I have worked with and knew only too closely back in the day. This makes it all the more exciting,” she adds.

This film will oblige both.” Sruthi has joined the team projected that incorporates Payal Rajput, Vasishta N Simha, Yogi, and Prakash Belawadi.
