The Dakshina Kannada government has arranged a bus service from Kanhangad and Kasaragod to Thalappadi on July 30 and 31 for students appearing for the Karnataka Medical Engineering entrance examination, the district collector said. The decision was taken in a discussion with the Dakshina Kannada district administration. If the Karnataka government provides transport facilities for students on August 1, the district administration will also provide KSRTC facilities on that day.
Students who return after writing the exam must stay in the room quarantine for 14 days. Parents who return with their students and parents who are allowed to go to the examination centers along with the students must stay in the room quarantine for 14 days.
