South superstar Dileep faces new allegations in actress abduction case

Dileep-5

Actor Dileep was charged on bail in the actress kidnapping case, the Kerala High Court on Monday permitted to re-examine three and summon 5 new witnesses in the ongoing trial. The plea to this was documented by the state against the trial court’s order dismissing its solicitation to re-examine witness after movie director Balachandra Kumar shared new assertions connected with the case, early this month.
The court on Monday requested to see that the whole exercise of showing extra proof be closed in 10 days. In addition, it likewise guided the Director-General of Prosecution to see that another Special Public Prosecutor is deputed or some other alternative arrangement is made to conduct the case on behalf of the prosecution and ensure that the examination of the witnesses and production of the documents is done within a period of 10 days.
However now,  the special public prosecutor withdrew from his post and this was the second time that such a thing has happened and now with a fresh order, a new council is expected to take the case in charge. Things when it seemed to go flawlessly for Dileep in the trial, turned wrong when Kumar showed up. When he said that Dileep after being released on bail saw the visuals which showed the victim who was captured being actually assaulted by her victimizers, while she was abducted.
Until this time it was just the trial court that had seen this and at this point, Kumar who made this and more divulgences has affirmed before the police and magistrate.
Also founded on these divulgences, the police probe team registered a fresh case and Dileep may be arrested sought anticipatory bail, which will be heard on Tuesday and the state informed the court last week, that until this is heard, they won’t arrest the actor.
Dileep was arrested in 2017 and held up in jail for a case related to a gang sexually assaulting a South Indian heroine and filming the scenes. After two months in jail, he was released on bail.
