Leading smart TV brand Sony has launched the Android LED Smart TV in the Indian market under the name 32W830. Sony claims to be the best TV with the most premium features in the new smart TV segment priced at Rs 31,900. As the name suggests, the new 32-inch Sony Smart TV comes with Android TV software, Google Assistant support, HDR10 and HLG format support. Therefore, the Sony 32W830 Android Smart TV is one of the most expensive 32-inch smart TVs in the segment.
The Sony 32W830 Android Smart TV is priced at Rs 31,900 while the 43-inch and 50-inch Ultra-HD TVs of the Amazon Basics and View brands are available for less than Rs 30,000. At the same time, Sony hopes that the 32W830 Android Smart TV will gain customers with the reliability of the Sony brand, performance in after-sales services, and better features.
The Sony 32W830 Smart LED TV is based on the Android TV, which does not reveal which version. The Smart TV is equipped with a Google Assistant voice remote. The display of the TV with 1366×768 pixel resolution is built-in by Google Chromecast. Although the display is designed to support HDR10 and HLG formats, it is doubtful whether the 32-inch display is designed to accurately reflect such output. This Sony Smart TV will support up to a full-HD 60Hz signal.
