He is a consummate actor who understands how to leave a lasting impression in each and every part that he plays on screen. A self-made actor spent almost twenty years in the business after starring in Shaheed-E-Azam, the first Hindi film, which was released in May 2002.

He has also contributed to films in Kannada, Telugu, and Tamil. Sonu has consistently displayed the utmost sincerity in his onscreen performances, whether he was exhibiting his acting talent in grand historical drama movies like Jodhaa Akbar or giving us various negative characters.
