Son Dulquer shares heart-warming B’day wishes to Mammukka

Malayalam genius Mammootty has turned 70 today and fans are savoring their early show symbol’s birthday on this event. Joining the large numbers of fans, his son and actor Dulquer Salmaan wished his dad with a tender note and that is very endearing.

“I give up!! How does one even appear in the same frame and try to justify being there when you look like that! Mashallah!,” wrote Dulquer who shared two or three pictures on Instagram.

In a similar post, the ‘Banglore Days’ actor added, “appreciative and favored. “Ever so grateful and ever so blessed. I love you infinity Pa! We are the luckiest and most fortunate to be your family. We are constantly reminded of that when the world celebrates you constantly. Wishing you the happiest of birthdays and may you always age in reverse.”

Mammootty Muhammad Kutty was born on September 7, 1951, in Chembu, near Vaikom in Kottayam district to Ismail and Fatima, the eldest son of an ordinary family. He moved to Ernakulam with his family and attended St. Albert’s School, Government High School, Maharaja’s College, Ernakulam. He graduated from the College of Law. After studying law, he worked as a lawyer in Manjeri for two years. He got married to Sulfath in 1980.

There is no other superstar in Malayalam who has given a chance to most new directors. More than 70 newcomer directors like Lal Jose, Amal Neerad, Aashiq Abu, and Anwar Rashid have been directing Mammootty films over the years. The confidence given by the actor Mammootty to these newcomers who were standing outside the big gates of the cinema is not small.

Mammootty himself once had an answer to the question as to why he supported so many newcomers. “I have always been interested in working with new directors. Because I think they have something interesting to tell through their stories. The story and the script are important to me. ” These words reflect the mind of the actor Mammootty, who never hesitates to travel in search of good stories and characters.

Mammukka was most recently seen in ‘One’ and has two movies in shooting stages. Then again Dulquer is occupied with an untitled Telugu movie under the bearing of Hanu Raghavpudi. ‘Yuddham Tho Rasina Prema Katha’ is the reputed title of this film.
